Currently in NYC — October 31, 2023: Some chilly showers
Plus, a frigid Halloween night nationwide.
The weather, currently.
A chilly and ghostly sunny day
Happy Halloween!! Nothing too creepy about our weather for the day. Expect a mostly sunny but chilly Halloween. Highs only hit the low 50s. It’s perfect All Hallows’ Eve weather because you won’t sweat in your costume. The wind dies down so it won’t feel too bitter. The wind chill makes it feel like the 30s again overnight and a few showers develop... again. I hope you have a spook-tacular day and find your favorite candy to enjoy throughout it.

What you need to know, currently.
Temperatures 10 to 25°F colder than normal will shroud most of the United States on Halloween, bringing a chill to any planned spooky festivities.
Freeze warnings stretch from southern California to Louisiana to eastern Pennsylvania, and some places like western North Dakota may even dip below zero Fahrenheit on Tuesday morning.
It may be a good idea to figure out how to incorporate a jacket into that costume tomorrow night across much of the lower 48. "Mr. Freeze" is a good costume, but only if it's intended. #Halloween

If you have a Halloween costume that’s winter-adaptable, I’d recommend it. Like maybe “Lavender Haze” Taylor instead of “Shake it Off” Taylor??
